EXTRA is an initiative by the Royal Festival, with the support of VISITWallonia and VISITSpa, aimed at introducing you to the town of Spa, its surroundings, and its vibrant performing arts scene. The festival’s program will highlight some exceptional artists from Wallonia, offering a unique cultural experience.
During its 65th edition, running from August 2nd to August 18th, 2024, the Spa Royal Festival presents a special program highlighting Walloon talent, labeled “EXTRA”.
This diverse program features shows of various styles, ranging from sensational to intimate, including visual performances without words, as well as French-language performances with Dutch and/or English surtitles. Events will be held in emblematic locations within the UNESCO-recognized thermal heritage site.

SKYDIVE SPA
Skydiving: a unique experience!
Looking for an adrenaline rush this summer? Consider trying skydiving! Skydive Spa offers an exhilarating experience at an altitude of +/- 4,000 meters, pushing you beyond your limits and providing unforgettable thrills.
With tandem skydiving, you can soak in the breathtaking landscape while experiencing the intensity of the jump. This activity is suitable for individuals who are at least 120cm tall and weigh a maximum of 95kg. After a brief training session, you’ll board a plane that swiftly ascends to 4,000 meters in just 12 minutes. Once the aircraft door opens, you’ll embark on the jump. After the free-fall phase of approximately 2,500 meters at speeds of around +/-200km/h, lasting about 50 seconds, your instructor will deploy the parachute, leading to five minutes of tranquil canopy flight. It’s an experience like no other!
Skydive Spa is renowned worldwide for its professional team and expertise. Jumps are available from March until the end of November, making it a prime destination for adrenaline enthusiasts. Plus, skydiving is accessible to everyone, including individuals with reduced mobility.
